Music
Shakers classes are designed to enable and encourage families and communities to share
songs and movement activities together in a relaxed, play-based
environment.
Each child participates in his or her own
unique way by singing, dancing, listening, watching and playing.
Most classes are offered for mixed ages including siblings,
some are designed for infants. Parents
and caregivers are encouraged to contribute to their child’s musical
experience.Families bring home new song collections every term, with both original and traditional songs that can be enjoyed at home and during travel abroad. Children are brought to class by any caregiver including their parent, grandparent or nanny, and the whole family is welcome to experience the joy of making music together.
